1892 Gaslight True Crime/Ghost Legend

Coronado Mystery: Why did the Beautiful Stranger really die?

Coronado Mystery: Why did the Beautiful Stranger really die? She checked in under a false name for unknowable reasons on Thanksgiving Day 1892, at the world-class Hotel del Coronado (today a U.S. National Historic Landmark). Beautiful, glamorous, mysterious, and odd—she died of a gunshot to the head a few days later on the hotel's seaward steps during a fierce night storm. Famously, legend has it that her ghost haunts the Hotel Del. Guests ask for her former room (today 3327) and then check out during the night in sheer terror (a Dead Move). More about the case here. 2014 Vanished: Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370

One of Aviation's Most Baffling Mysteries. A plausible solution to one of aviation history's greatest enigmas; based on reported facts, keeps all cards on the table; this saga is far from over. Lemma 3: the aircraft was hijacked, taken toward the Horn of Africa to be weaponized and dropped on a major European target to rival New York's 9/11. Plot failed (this time)—but 'they' will try again. More about the case here.
